Community Involvement
2023 "BAIRD GIVES BACK" WEEK
This year our office and some of our family members came together for a sandbag-filling event, in partnership with the City of Holladay. This was instrumental following the unusual amount of snowfall this past winter, many places were on the cusp of flooding.
Our office thoroughly always enjoys this week and every opportunity we have to give back to our community where we work and live.
2018 "BAIRD GIVES BACK" WEEK
This year the office came together to prepare 120 sack lunches for preschool children at The Road Home's Midvale Family Center.
The Road Home is a private non-profit social services agency that assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake County and along the Wasatch Front. The Road Home provides multiple services to help people overcome homelessness such as emergency shelter, emergency services, case management, and housing. The Midvale Family Center actively strives to give every child the chance to eat. Prepared sack lunches are distributed to preschool aged children first and leftovers are given to older children when they come back from school.
Our office thoroughly enjoyed coming together to give back to our community for this great cause.

For this year's "Baird Gives Back" Week, our associates volunteered for Catholic Community Services of Utah (CCS).
CCS assists the homeless, low income & new refugee families by empowering them to reach self-sufficiency. They told us they were in tremendous need of some kits for the new refugee families with many household cleaning and hygiene items. We assembled five kits in the conference room together. This allowed us to stay in the office to assist our clients while still helping the less fortunate in our community. Alex Wheeler, Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor, drove them up CCS and dropped them off.

In addition, the office also does an activity every quarter with activities ranging from teaching children in elementary school how to prevent bullying to painting a fence in a nearby community, as well as, serving breakfast at the South Salt Lake City community center. Our associates and their families truly enjoy giving back to our community.
Our associates have been asked to serve a wide array of roles in many outstanding community organizations. Here are a few of the many organizations that the Salt Lake City – Private Wealth Management associates dedicate their time serving:
